Cologne, 23 August 2019. Hyundai is to continue as the mobility partner of one of the largest multi-sports streaming platforms: sporttotal. sporttotal.tv gmbh, a wholly owned subsidiary of SPORTTOTAL AG, and Hyundai Motor Deutschland GmbH have prematurely renewed their sponsoring agreement through to the end of June 2021. The partners had initially agreed a term through to mid-2020. Hyundai has featured as sporttotal partner since August 2017 and presents the "AMATOR" of the week, the month and the year - a very popular format among football fans with a wide coverage. In addition, together with sporttotal, Hyundai has conferred Germany's Hyundai Amateur Cup on the best amateur footballers since 2018 - in 2019 as well, with the grand final being played on 27 July on the training premises of Hertha BSC. FC Eilenburg (NOFV Premier League South) is the champion of the big German Tour. The winning team can now look forward to a trip to FC Chelsea in London, including VIP tickets for the game against Champion League winner FC Liverpool.

The local Hyundai dealers in particular are integrated into sporttotal's comprehensive sponsoring concept. Furthermore, Hyundai dealers have the option of granting privileged access to the much coveted sporttotal cameras to their local clubs. This option has already been realised at FC Eilenburg whose home games can now be streamed live thanks to the Damm car dealership.
